The Pipe CorpsAs is custom, the Pipe Major is the head of the band and John Chandler has been Pipe Major since 2002.He has been piping since the age of 12 and began his piping career in a cadet band based in Portsmouth. Winning numerous championships, both locally and internationally within varying disciplines, one of John’s main goals for the band is to be highly successful in pipe band competition territory. |
| The band follows a curriculum specifically designed by John to meet the bands requirements and its main aim is to challenge the individual piper, whatever their ability. |
